Our Beliefs

The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

Our Triune God

There is one true God who has revealed Himself as the Creator, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • God the Father is the all-powerful, all-knowing, and loving Creator who reigns over the universe. He is a Father to all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus Christ, God the Son, is 100% God and 100% man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and atoned for our sins by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, and He will return again in glory.

  • The Holy Spirit, fully divine, inspired the authors of the Bible and indwells every believer. He guides, teaches, and empowers us for life and ministry, convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

Sin and Salvation

Mankind was created in God's image but fell into sin through disobedience, resulting in both physical and spiritual death. All people are born with a sinful nature and are separated from God.

Salvation is a gift from God, made possible through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith. Those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive eternal life, and become children of God.

Sanctification

We believe in sanctification as an ongoing process of being set apart from evil and dedicated to God. It is a work of the Holy Spirit within us, enabling us to live a life of holiness by identifying with Christ's death and resurrection.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe all believers should seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a gift from the Father. This experience, distinct from salvation, empowers believers for life and service and includes the use of spiritual gifts. The initial physical evidence of this baptism is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Divine Healing & Provision

Divine healing is an essential part of the Gospel, and deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Atonement of Christ. We also believe it is God's will for believers to be whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially—so that we can better serve others.

The Church

The Church is the body of all believers who have been redeemed by the blood of Christ. We are called to be a witness to the world, proclaiming the Gospel. The local church is a community of believers joined together for worship, fellowship, prayer, and the ordinances of baptism and communion.

The Ordinances

  • Water Baptism is an act of obedience, signifying a believer's identification with Christ's death and resurrection. It is for all who have repented and put their faith in Jesus.

  • Holy Communion is a symbolic meal of bread and the fruit of the vine. It serves as a memorial of Christ's suffering and death and a prophecy of His return.

The End Times

We believe in the Second Coming of Christ, which includes the rapture of the saints followed by Christ's visible return to earth to reign for a thousand years. Following this, there will be a Final Judgment where all will be judged according to their works, and those not found in the Book of Life will be separated from God forever.

Marriage

We believe marriage was created by God as a covenant between a man and a woman, uniting them as one.
